A 501 Union Wedding - Simplicity and Glamour
Jane and Moo's spring wedding at 501 Union was a a beautiful balance of modern simplicity and detailed glamour. The couple's chic style paired with wedding planner Jove Meyer's impeccable vision was a recipe for pure wedding design magic. Luckily the talented Chaz Cruz was on site to capture it all!
To set the mood for the evening, guests entered the venue through a doorway adorned with draping fabric and greenery and walked straight in to the ceremony space. Here, your attention was immediately drawn to the ceiling which was filled with clean lines of sheer white fabric and Italian ruscus greenery.
Our team enhanced the venue's ivy wall with additional greenery extending from the ceiling on to the brick. This moment would become the ceremony backdrop. The clear acrylic ghost chair from Broadway Party Rentals completed the modern aesthetic of the room.
During cocktail hour guests passed through a wooden box overflowing with flowers and rows of escort cards displaying their dinner seat assignment. The pops of floral color within the escort card display were inspired by the dinner plate awaiting the guests as they found their seats.
Similar to the ceremony, the reception space was filled with clean lines created by the rectangular tables and long garlands crawling over the edges of each table and extending to the floor. Intermingled in the garlands were pillar candles of various sizes that created a romantic twinkle of light throughout the room.
The vintage china and rose gold flatware elevated each place setting and brought such a unique style to the space!
